Vegan chocolate-covered strawberries! I added some yummy toppings for some added flavor, including crushed pistachios, coconut, and sesame seeds! The viola flowers on the plate are also edible and homegrown from my Lettuce Grow farmstand!
A super easy dessert with recipe below:
- 3 oz of vegan chocolate chips or dark chocolate (suggest picking a company that doesn’t use child labor via Food Empowerment Project’s ethical chocolate list (https://foodispower.org/chocolate-list/) if that’s an option)
Toppings (optional): crushed pistachios, coconut shreds, and sesame seeds
- Heat some water in a medium saucepan until boiling. Lower heat and add a glass bowl on top of the saucepan. Add chocolate and keep stirring until completely melted. Once melted, dip each strawberry in chocolate until fully coated. Immediately add toppings on before chocolate dries.
Voila, super easy delicious dessert!
